Business today needs to use every tool available to attract and win customers.
When people are looking for a supplier or a service they will look in a variety of places, eg. yellow pages, magazines, newspapers and increasingly on the internet, to find the businesses that cater for their needs.
Having a web site is a way to increase the chances that your business is listed when people search on the internet and is a cost effective way of advertising your products and services. It is possible, if you choose to do so, to take orders and receive payment over the internet, potentially increasing the turnover of your business without a correponding increase in your costs. People are more likely to visit a web site to discover what you have to offer than they are to ring a listed number to enquire whether you can help them. One of the benefits arising from this is that those people who do contact you after looking at your web site are more likely to be potential buyers of your services/products. |
|
Your web site is often the first contact that people have with your business and the importance of creating a good impression cannot be overstated.
A badly designed web site can turn people away from dealing with you whereas an informative and professional looking site will reflect favorably on your business Another consideration to bear in mind is that of future maintenance, if your site has been professionally developed then help is just a telephone call or Email away. A professional business needs a professional web site! |

Vollauds Web is a professional organisation focused on delivering quality systems at a competitive price. |

A professionally designed web site need not be as expensive as you think, our basic 6 page site can cost as little as £250, excluding the cost of the site name and hosting.
When you compare this to other forms of advertising and to the audience that you can reach there is the potential of a high return for a reasonably small investment. The cost of us maintaining your web site can be as low as £100 for an annual contract, although subscribing to this is optional on your part. |
|
At Vollauds Web we do not believe in re-inventing the wheel. We design our sites so that they are easily modified by us and so that we can re-use design content wherever possible.
With the basic 6 page site the bulk of the work for us is to incorporate your logo, images and text. As part of our philosophy of providing professional, value for money sites we pass on to you the savings that arise from re-using parts of existing designs. We believe that the IT industry has for too long used peoples lack of understanding and apprehension of computer systems to charge a premium price for its services. |
|
If you choose the basic 6 page site we would expect this to be completed and live within 4 weeks of your order.
The main factor affecting this period of time is you, if you have a clear idea of the look you want, what you want to say and the pictures you wish to use then you could be live within 2 weeks. For our bespoke work we will include an estimate of how long the work will take along with the price. |
|
We will require your time, the first step is that you will need to approve the basic design concepts.
Following this we will ask you to provide us with textual content for each page and the pictures/images that you would like us to include. You will be asked to review the site as 'work in progress' and to give us your feedback. We also expect you to pay us promptly. |
